Late Art Deco Diamond Panel Earrings

A beautiful pair of Late Art Deco diamond panel plaque earrings set in platinum and 18k white gold.

Each earring is designed as a pierced openwork panel grain-set with a mixture of old mine cut and transitional cut diamonds. The geometric motifs are iconic to the era and the pair look truly stunning once on the ear. They are secured to reverse with a post and butterfly fitting.

Due to their design and size these earrings have so much versatility and could be worn for a variety of occasions.

The earrings measure 2.0 x 1.3 centimetres and have a combined weight of 8.2 grams. There is an estimated total diamond weight of 1.44 carats, estimated G-I in colour with SI clarity. Typical of the era the earrings are not hallmarked but have been tested for both platinum and white gold. Circa late 1930’s (Late Art Deco).
