Vintage Ruby and Diamond Dress Ring

A beautiful vintage ruby and diamond dress ring set in 18k yellow gold.

This unique piece is composed in a bombe design and is centrally set with a vibrant oval cut ruby. The ruby is four claw set securely and is sided by four graduating rows of round brilliant cut diamonds. There is a total of 48 diamonds within the ring and due to the way they are set sparkle beautifully on the finger.

Due to the design and size this ring could be worn for a variety of occasions. The piece could be worn by itself as a stand-alone piece, or alternatively paired with other pieces.

For size reference the ring head measures 1.1 centimetres in width and sits 0.65 centimetres off the finger. There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.50 carats. These range from H-I in colour with VS-SI clarity. There is an estimated total ruby weight of 1.59 carats. The ring is currently a finger size P (USA finger size approximate 7 ½), due to the design this could be resized slightly for a perfect fit. The ring is hallmarked 18k gold and weighs 11.7 grams.
