Vintage Ruby and Diamond Cluster Bombe Ring

A beautiful vintage ruby and diamond cluster bombe ring set in 18k yellow gold.

This spectacular piece is composed in a bombe design and is centrally set with a vibrant oval cut ruby. The ruby is four claw set securely and surrounded by a cluster of 12 round brilliant cut diamond. The cluster motif sits slightly higher than the rest of the bombe design and is surrounded by a further 50 diamonds creating a beautiful effect once on the finger. The diamonds travel half way across the finger which meet a solid but graduating 7-millimetre band.

Due to the design and size this ring could be worn for a variety of occasions. The piece could be worn by itself as a stand-alone piece, or alternatively paired with other pieces. The ruby in this ring is simply superb having a fantastic colour and sparkle!

For size reference the ring head measures 1.7 centimetres in width and sits 0.7 centimetres off the finger. There is an estimated total diamond weight of 1.75 carats. These range from F-G in colour with VVS-VS clarity. There is an estimated total ruby weight of 1.69 carats. The ring is currently a finger size L ½ (USA finger size approximate 6), due to the design this could be resized slightly for a perfect fit. The ring is hallmarked 750 for 18k gold and weighs 8.9 grams.
