Vintage Art Deco Inspired Amethyst and Diamond Cocktail Ring

A striking Art Deco inspired amethyst and diamond cocktail ring set in platinum.

This beautiful piece is predominantly set with a vibrant purple emerald cut amethyst which is four claw set to centre. To each side of the amethyst is a row of old mine cut diamonds, which perfectly highlight the vibrancy of the amethyst stone. These diamond shoulders lead to scrolled detailing and a fine 1.5-millimetre band.

All of the stones are set in an open back setting which allows light to easily pass through making it an incredibly sparkly piece of jewellery to wear. The amethyst within the ring is truly superb and would make a beautiful show piece!

There is a grand total amethyst weight of 13.10 carats. There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.40 carats. These range from I-J in colour with VS clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size Q (approximately a USA size 8) but his can be easily resized before dispatch for a perfect fit.

For size reference the head of the ring measures 1.8 x 1.9 centimetres and has a gross weight of 9.2 grams. Due to the rings age, the mount is not stamped for platinum however has been tested and will be outlined in the valuation.
