Vintage Almandine Garnet and Diamond Cluster Ring

A beautiful vibrant red garnet and diamond oval halo ring set in platinum.

The ring centrally features a beautiful deep red coloured oval shaped almandine garnet surrounded by a halo of 12 round brilliant-cut and 2 baguette cut diamonds. The cluster is set in a slightly raised setting, making it stand out nicely on the finger and makes a fabulous cocktail ring.

Due to the design and size the ring has so much versatility and could easily be worn for everyday or dressed up for more special occasions.

The central almandine garnet has a total weight of 5.14 carats. There is an estimated total diamond weight of 1.20 carats, estimated G-I in colour with VS-SI clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size L ½ (USA finger size approximate 6) but this can be sized upon request for a perfect fit. Due to the age of the piece the ring is not hallmarked but has been tested for platinum.

For size reference the ring head measures 1.8 centimetres in diameter and there is a gross weight of 6.8 grams.
