Vintage Chopard Happy Diamond Ring

A beautiful vintage Chopard ‘Happy Diamonds’ diamond ring set in 18k yellow gold.

The ring depicts an open-circle motif, with three floating rub over set diamonds in the centre. The diamonds float in a crystal glass panel casing and is surrounded by a polished yellow gold circle. The shoulders of the ring are also open and graduate to a solid 2-millimetre band.

Due to the design and size the ring could be worn for a variety of occasions. The floating diamonds give the ring a sense of fun and sparkle beautifully on the finger. The Happy Diamonds collection is a popular collection by Chopard due to the unique floating diamond effect – this ring is one of the earliest designs estimated to be from the mid to late 1980’s and is a prime example of excellent craftsmanship!

There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.15 carats. These diamonds are estimated to be G-H in colour with VS clarity. The ring is signed and hallmarked Chopard, 750. The ring is currently a UK finger size L (USA finger size 5 ¾) but this can be resized for a perfect fit.

For size reference the head of the ring measures 1.1 centimetres in width and there is a combined weight of 5.1 grams.
