A beautiful vintage Carrera y Carrera Medusa diamond ring set in 18k yellow gold.
The ring is composed of a beautifully crafted face in brushed yellow gold surrounded by naturalistic snakes representing Medusa’s flowing hair. On each side of the face, there are 2 round brilliant-cut diamonds in micro pavé settings. It is beautifully hand-crafted with matt and polished finishings, showing the contract between the hair, face and band.
Due to its size and design, the ring can be worn for various occasions. It would be a perfect piece to wear as a statement piece or every day.
The estimated total weight of the diamonds is 0.03 carats, ranging from G-H in colour with VVS clarity. For size reference, the ring is currently a UK size K (USA size 5 ¾), but this can be sized upon request for a perfect fit. The ring has a gross weight of 8.1 grams.
The ring is hallmarked CyC, 750 (for 18k gold), with a serial number of 107896. Lastly, a valuation for insurance and authenticity will accompany this piece.
