An extremely unique vintage Antonini iolite and diamond bombe ring set in 18k white gold.
The ring is centrally set with a cabochon iolite, bezel set in a pave set diamond bombe mounting. Interestingly, to one shoulder is a polished circular motif which adds an unique element to the design!
Iolite is renowned for is vibrant blue/purple appearance and its colour changing properties. Once on the hand the wearer can admire the blue/purple tones from the top but then also admire the colour change to green from the side!
There is an estimated total iolite weight of 5.65 carats. There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.95 carats, ranging G-H in colour with VVS clarity.
The ring is currently a UK finger size P (USA finger size 7 ½) but this can be resized for a perfect fit. There is a gross weight of exactly 10.5 grams. The ring is signed and hallmarked Antonini, 750, with Italian hallmarks.
