Vintage 1980’s Van Cleef & Arpels Lapis and Diamond Dress Ring

A beautiful vintage Van Cleef and Arpels lapis and diamond bombe dress ring set in 18k yellow gold.

The ring features a unique plaited design composed of lapis lazuli and pave set diamond panels. The contrast of the Royal blue lapis against the yellow gold and diamonds is superb and stands out beautifully on the finger.

Due to the design and size the ring has so much versatility and could easily be paired with a variety of styles.

For size reference the head of the ring measures 1.3 centimetres in thickness and sits 0.7 centimetres of the finger. There is an estimated total diamond weight of 1.35 carats, estimated F-G in colour with VVS-VS clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size J ½ (USA size 4 ¾ ) but this can be resized slightly upon request (due to the positioning of the hallmarks they may be compromised). The ring is lastly signed and hallmarked Van Cleef & Arpels, 750, with the serial number 69882. French hallmarking’s can be found on the outside of the band. The ring is estimated to be from the late 1980’s.
