A Chaumet Paris diamond gold bug brooch in 18-karat yellow and white gold, circa 1990. The brooch is designed with a ridged yellow gold body, carved yellow gold legs and a polished yellow gold head accented with single-cut diamond eyes, to beautiful openwork mesh wings in white gold with a solid yellow gold border, each wing claw-set with five round brilliant-cut and single-cut diamonds. The brooch is secured to reverse with a pin and barrel clasp fitting. The diamonds have a combined weight of approximately 0.70 carats, G-I colour and VS-SI clarity. Dimensions: 29x29mm. Weight: 6.10g. Signed Chaumet. French hallmark for 18kt gold.
