A beautiful vintage angelfish diamond and yellow sapphire brooch set in 18k white gold.
The brooch depicts an angelfish motif with a yellow tail. It is pavé set with round brilliant-cut diamonds and yellow sapphires and adorned with a red ruby eye. The colour of the gemstones contrasts against the white gold, making it stand out nicely when worn. The brooch is secured to reverse with a pin and roller clap fitting.
Due to the design and the colour of the gemstones in the piece, it beautifully stands out when worn on either a jumper, jacket or shirt. A perfect gift for a fish lover!
The total weight of the diamonds is 2.90 carats, ranging from H-I in colour with VS-SI clarity. The total weight of yellow sapphires is 0.65 carats. The weight of ruby is 0.02 carats. For size reference, the brooch measures approximately 4.1 centimetres in length and 4.7 centimetres in width, with a gross weight of 10.8 grams.
The brooch is hallmarked K18, 750 (for 18k gold), D2.90 S0.65 R0.02 (for stone weight). Lastly, a valuation for insurance and authenticity will accompany this piece.
