Vintage Pomellato Chunky Chain Link and Carnelian Ball Bracelet

A beautiful vintage Pomellato chunky ball and chain link bracelet set in 18k yellow gold.

From Pomellato’s discontinued ‘Boule’ collection, the piece is composed of 17 elongated yellow gold links in polished yellow gold. Towards the end of the bracelet are two balls, one composed of carnelian, and the other of gold. Rather interestingly, the piece is fastened with the yellow gold ball which requires to be pushed together and threaded through the larger loop, thus securing the bracelet on the wrist.

Due to the design of the piece this could be worn for a variety of occasions. The bracelet could be worn for every day, or alternatively, dressed up for more special events.
The piece measures 18 centimetres in length and the carnelian bead measures 1.6 centimetre in diameter. The bracelet has a gross weight of 55.6 grams. The bracelet is signed and hallmarked on the carnelian bead casing Pomellato, 750.
