An important French Art Deco openwork panel diamond bracelet, in platinum and white gold, set throughout with old mine cut, old European brilliant, single cut, and rose cut diamonds, in a repeating geometric design. This stylish and elegantly articulated bracelet comprises eleven openwork millegrain-set diamond panels of a squared shape. The central panel features a 2.25ct diamond of H/I colour and SI clarity, surrounded by a millegrain-set old mine cut diamond halo (approximately 1.80ct in total), amidst a further collection of millegrain pave-set melee diamonds (approximately 0.84ct in total). This panel is succeeded by five additional openwork squared panels on both sides, each stylised with a cross motif to a millegrain-set old mine cut diamond at the centre (totalling approximately 5.92ct for those ten central stones), amidst millegrain-set melee diamonds. Despite this bracelet's impressive total carat weight of approximately 32.81 carats, the geometric panels are articulated seamlessly which, together with the finely pierced linear gallery and intricate back holding, makes this magnificent jewel very comfortable to wear. Approximately 19.5cm in length and 1.90cm in width. This piece has the French hallmark for platinum and for 18kt gold, as well as the maker's mark for Caen (E.) Paris, famous for his exceptional creations for Maison Cartier and Boucheron Paris. Circa 1935.
