A beautiful vintage Van Cleef & Arpels ‘Alhambra’ onyx and diamond wristwatch bracelet set in 18k yellow gold.
The watch is composed of seven iconic Alhambra clover motifs one of which being slightly larger in size and acts as the face of the watch. Each onyx clover motif is encased in beaded yellow gold and bezel set centrally with a sparkly round brilliant cut diamond.
The watch aspect is a quartz movement with a numberless dial however four round brilliant cut diamonds mark each quarter hour. The case size measures 25-millimetres and the watch bracelet is fastened with a push clasp and safety chain.
The dial is signed Van Cleef & Arpels, Paris, Swiss Made. The case is also signed Alhambra, Van Cleef & Arpels, Swiss Made, with the serial numbers 122974 and 127785, the case is stamped with the head of a St Bernard’s dog (common precious metal mark for Switzerland). The side of the case is lastly stamped with 2000 (circa).
This watch has been serviced and comes with a 1 year warranty.
