Vintage Cartier Tank Francaise ‘Two-Tone’ Chronoflex watch

A stylish vintage Cartier Tank Francaise Chronoflex watch in 18ct yellow gold and stainless steel.

The watch features a 28-millimetre stainless-steel case with a matching steel and gold bracelet. The watch has a beautiful white dial with black roman numerals and blue hands.

The watch has: a quartz movement, rectangular white dial, roman numerals in black, sunken subsidiary dials at 12, 4 and 7 for date, 30 minute register and 12 hour register respectively, octagonal outer seconds track in black, blued steel pencil hands, centre seconds hand, octagonal crown set with a blue cabochon gem and flanked by twin rectangular push buttons, on a stainless steel and gold bracelet strap with concealed clasp, no box or original papers.

After the release of the Tank Francaise, came the Tank Francaise Chronoflex just one year later in 1996. At the time it was known as an exciting new launch in Cartier’s 150 year history, being the largest of the Tanks offered at the time. The movement of this watch was created in conjunction with Piaget.

The case measures 28mm excluding crown x 39mm. The strap is approx. 16.5 cm long.
