Cartier Colisee Yellow Gold and Diamond Ladies Watch 1980

A beautiful Cartier Colisee Yellow Gold and Diamond Ladies Watch 1980, diamond set on the bezel with one row, and another row on the lugs. The bracelet is a “boules” style bracelet, which directly translates to “balls” in English.

This Colisee measures 24mm across. It is made entirely of 18ct yellow gold, and has an original Cartier folding Buckle. The display is a white dial, with sapphire glass, black roman numerals and blue steel hands. There is one row of high-quality diamonds across the circular bezel and these diamonds also cover part of the lug (where the bracelet attaches to the watch).

The Cartier Colisee is a chic and sophisticated jewellery watch. Introduced in the 1970s, the Colisée, which is French for “coliseum”, is characterized by the marriage of graceful circular shapes, and Art Deco style lines. It was recommission in 1996-1999, making this watch a desirable piece for collectors.
