1999 Cartier Colisee Yellow Gold and Diamond Ladies Watch 1980

A beautiful 1999 Cartier Colisee Yellow Gold and Diamond Ladies Watch 1980, diamond set on the bezel and three row diamond on the bezel. The bracelet is a “boules” style bracelet, which directly translates to “balls” in English.

This Colisee measures 24mm across. It is made entirely of 18ct yellow gold, and has an original Cartier folding Buckle. The display is a white dial, with sapphire glass, black roman numerals and blue steel hands. There are three rows of high-quality diamonds across the circular bezel and these diamonds also cover part of the lug (where the bracelet attaches to the watch).

The Cartier Colisee is a chic and sophisticated jewelry watch. Introduced in the 1970s, the Colisée, which is French for “coliseum”, is characterized by the marriage of graceful circular shapes, and Art Deco style lines. It was reintroduced in 1996-1999, making this watch a desirable piece for collectors.
