Vintage Cartier Toi-Et-Moi Marquise Sapphire and Diamond Ring

A beautiful vintage Cartier toi-et-moi sapphire and diamond crossover ring set in 18k yellow gold.

The phrase ‘toi-et-moi’ simply means ‘me and you’ and is famously known for being one of the most romantic ring designs in the jewellery industry. A classic toi-et-moi ring features two stones of a similar size and cut, just like this Cartier piece, these larger stones are to symbolise two souls becoming one.

This piece is a beautiful example of Cartier craftsmanship and is set with two identical marquise sapphire stones. To each end of the band we see graduating round brilliant cut diamonds to add further sparkle to the piece.

The pear cut sapphires have been beautifully matched in colour and stand out nicely on the finger; there is an estimated total weight of 0.60 carats. There is a remining diamond weight of 0.20 carats assessed F/G in colour with VS clarity.

This ring is currently a Cartier size 51, UK size L (USA 5 ¾) but can be resized upon request (resizing would alter the hallmarking). There is a gross weight of grams. The ring is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, 52, with the serial number 272769.
