A beautiful vintage Cartier ‘Panthère Griffe’ diamond ring set in 18k yellow gold.
From the now discontinued Panthère Griffe collection, the ring depicts two panther claws (‘Griffe’ translating to claw) and are designed to be clutching the wearers finger. To one side of each claw is a panel of round brilliant cut diamonds which add the perfect amount of additional sparkle and look truly remarkable once on.
Due to the design and size this ring could be worn for a variety of occasions. The piece could be worn by itself as a stand-alone piece, or alternatively stacked up amongst other pieces.
There is an estimated total diamond weight of 1.70 carats. The ring is currently a Cartier size 51, UK finger size L (USA finger size 5 3/4) due to the design this could be resized slightly for a perfect fit. The ring is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, with the serial number 80986A. Circa early 2000’s. The ring weighs 12.9 grams.
