Vintage Cartier ‘Kiss of the Dragon’ Garnet Ring

A beautiful vintage Cartier ‘Kiss of the Dragon’ garnet ring set in 18k yellow gold.

From the now discontinued ‘Kiss of the Dragon’ collection (also known as Le Baiser du Dragon) The ring is predominantly set with a mixed cut dark red garnet stone which is encased in a Asian influenced claw setting. The setting the flows nicely to a solid 5-millimetre band. The design is subtle yet effective and the ring looks fantastic once on the hand.

Due to the design and size this ring could be worn for a variety of occasions. The piece could be worn by itself as a stand-alone piece, or alternatively stacked up amongst other pieces.

For size reference the head of the ring measures 1.6 x 1.7 centimetres. The ring is currently a Cartier size 53, UK finger size M ½ (USA finger size 6 1/4) due to the design this can be resized for a perfect fit. The ring is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, 53, with the serial number 998556. The ring weighs 10.8 grams.
