Vintage Cartier 1895 Diamond Solitaire Ring

A beautiful vintage Cartier ‘1895’ diamond solitaire ring set in platinum.

The piece prominently features a beautiful 0.62 carat round brilliant diamond. The diamond is four claw set to centre and sided by graduating diamond shoulders. The diamonds are set in a raised gallery which flows round nicely to a 2mm shank. Centre diamond is laser inscribed on the girdle “Cartier C017207”.

The true beauty of this piece all lies in the design. The elegant side shoulders make this simple solitaire a little more special, and they perfectly compliment the central diamond. Due to the setting being slightly raised, the ring can be easily paired with a wedding and / or eternity band.

The diamond is 0.62 carats in total has been estimated by our registered valuer as being G in colour with VS1 clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size I (which converts to a USA size 4) but this can be resized upon request for a perfect fit. The ring has the French hallmark for platinum and is signed Cartier PT950. Serial number C017207.

There is a gross weight of 3.5 grams. With the purchase comes a complimentary valuation for authenticity and insurance purposes. The ring is accompanied by the original Cartier box.
