A rare vintage Cartier diamond panther pin brooch set in 18k white gold.
This beautiful piece depicts Cartier’s iconic panther motif and is pave set throughout with 82 round brilliant cut diamonds. It is secured to reverse with a pin and stopper.
Due to the design and size, this pin could be worn for a variety of occasions. It could easily be worn on a coat for everyday wear, or alternatively, worn on a lapel or blouse for more special occasions.
There is a total diamond weight of 1.45 carats these diamonds are estimated to be E-F in colour with VVS1 clarity. For size reference the pin measures 3.4 x 1.1 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 4.2 grams (pin stopper included). The pin is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750 (for 18k gold), with the serial number 962409. The pin is accompanied with an original fitted box but no certificate. Circa 2000.
