A spectacular Art Deco onyx and diamond dress set in platinum and yellow gold, cased by Cartier, French, circa 1920. The set is composed of a pair of cufflinks, four shirt studs and two waistcoat buttons en suite. Each double-sided cufflink is designed as two circular onyx plaques within old-single-cut diamond surmounts set in platinum, connected by a fancy 8-shaped rose gold link; with each shirt stud and waistcoat button composed of similarly-designed plaques. With maker’s marks for Henri Picq, a master jeweller who created excellent collections for Cartier from the early 1900s until the 1920s. Fitted in original Cartier’s box.
