Vintage Victorian Garnet Snake Necklace in Yellow Gold

A stunning vintage Victorian garnet snake necklace set in yellow gold.

The necklace features a snake motif that is beautifully handcrafted in yellow gold with hand-engraved detailing all around. Its head is set with one large oval cabochon garnet, with two round ones as its eyes. A gold locket elegantly hangs from its mouth, with another garnet on the top and a locket on the back, where to keep memorial elements. All 4 garnets are securely set in bezel settings and perfectly match in colour. The body of the snake functions as articulated links, allowing the necklace to sit and flow nicely on the neck, making it incredibly comfortable to wear.

Due to its design, the necklace can be worn for various occasions. It would be a perfect piece to wear as a statement piece or a unique collector piece.
