Vintage Russian Sapphire and Diamond Egg Pendant Charm

A beautiful vintage sapphire and diamond Russian egg pendant set in 14k yellow gold.

The pendant depicts a traditional Russian egg and is centrally bezel set with a round cut vibrant blue sapphire. Set to the top of this sapphire is a dainty old mine cut diamond which is bezel set securely. From this diamond is a swirl of wired gold that travels up the top of the egg and attaches to an articulated bail. The egg is designed is this hammered design which reflects the light beautifully once worn.

Due to the size and design, this egg could be worn for a variety of occasions. The egg would look lovely on a simple chain around the neck, or alternatively, attached to a charm bracelet amongst other pieces.

The egg is stamped on the bail with Russian markings; 56 (56/96 Zlotniks, which refers to 14k gold). For size reference the egg pendant measures 1.5 x 0.9 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 2.6 grams. No chain is included with this purchase- please enquire.
