Victorian five-stone diamond ring in yellow gold
A fabulous Victorian five-stone diamond ring in yellow gold. Set to the centre with five old mine cut diamonds of graduating sizes in open back claw-settings, the claws set with eight rose cut diamonds that add an extra sparkle to the ring, to an ornate scrolled filigree gallery and inversely tapered shoulders carved with a marquise-shape groove. The five old mine cut diamonds total an approximate weight of 2.50 carats, H/I colour and SI clarity. This ring is a finger size Q but could be sized up or down. Tested yellow gold, circa 1890.
