Late Victorian Old Cut Diamond Five Stone RingSKU: 7002319
A beautiful late Victorian old mine cut diamond five stone ring set in 18k yellow gold.
The ring is set with five old mine cut diamonds which elegantly graduate in size from the centre. Uniquely, between each diamond are smaller claw set diamonds which add that perfect amount of additional sparkle. All of the diamonds are claw set in a filigree scroll mounting which perfectly accentuates the stones. Additionally, once on the hand this filigree scroll design can be seen from all angles which makes the piece more interesting to look at.
The beauty of this piece lies in the design which perfectly enhances and compliments the stunning old mine cut diamonds. Due to how the piece sits on the finger the ring could easily be stacked next to other pieces such as a wedding and/or eternity band.
The ring is currently a UK finger size P (roughly a USA finger size 7 1/2) but this can be resized upon request for a perfect fit (this is a complimentary service). For size reference the head of the ring measure 2.3 x 0.7 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 5.2 grams.
There is an estimated total diamond weight of 3.50 carats. The remaining smaller diamonds have a combined weight of 0.08 carats. All the diamonds have been assessed by our inhouse gemmologist as G-H in colour with VS2-SI clarity. Typical of the era; the ring is not hallmarked but has been tested for 18k gold.
