Contemporary Black Opal and Diamond Cluster Ring

A truly stunning black opal and diamond cluster ring set in 18k yellow gold platinum.

The piece is centrally set with a beautiful 1.22 carat oval black opal which is claw set in platinum. The opal has a fantastic vibrant play of colour within and is surrounded by a cluster of 16 round brilliant cut diamonds; all of which are encased in a platinum scalloped edge setting.

Once worn the piece truly comes to life. Due to the oval shaped opal the ring elongates the wearers finger which is not only a slimming look but also looks extremely elegant.

The head of the ring is slightly raised which makes it easy to wear with other rings. There is a total opal weight of 1.22 carats. There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.64 carats, estimate G-H in colour with VVS clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size M 1/2 (USA finger size 6 1/4) but this can be resized for a perfect fit. The ring is stamped 750 (for 18k gold), SL (makers mark) and has a total weight of 6.5 grams.
