Boucheron Carved Purple Iolite Hoop Drop Earrings

A beautiful pair of signed Boucheron purple iolite hoop drop earrings set in 18k yellow gold.

Each earring is composed of a carved blueish/purple iolite stone rubover set within a matching carved yellow gold oval setting. Hanging from this oval setting is an articulated hoop that swings freely and is also carved to match the top half of the earring.

These earrings are a perfect example of early 1980’s vintage fashion. The contrast of the yellow gold against the block purple iolite is a striking pairing and looks fabulous once on the ear. They are currently secured with clip fittings however can have a post added for pierced ears.

The earrings measure approximately 2.8 x 1.6 centimetres and have a combined weight of 17.4 grams. They are both signed and stamped BOUCHERON, 750 with serial number A252772B.
