Vintage Pearl and Lapis Lazuli Drop Earrings

A beautiful pair of pearl and lapis lazuli drop earrings set in 18k yellow gold.

Each earring features a lustrous 6-millimetre white cultured pearl which sits perfectly next to an 18k yellow gold bead. Below this is an impressive carved piece of vibrant blue lapis lazuli. The lapis has a beautiful vibrant blue colouring to it which stands out once on the ear. The earrings are fitted with a Shepard’s hook post.

Due to their design and size these earrings could easily be worn for everyday or dressed up for more special occasions.

For size reference the earrings measure 4.2 x 2.3 centimetres and have a combined weight of 8.5 grams. Typical of the era, the earrings are not hallmarked but have been tested for 18k gold. Circa 1970’s.
