Vintage French Fan Earrings in Rose Gold

A rather interesting pair of vintage French ‘fan’ earrings set in 18k rose gold.

The earrings are firstly composed of a simple square stud design with openwork horizontal lines travelling across it. Hanging from the square are two rectangular pieces; each with their own unique directional pattern. Both rectangular pieces are hinged together and are designed to move with ease once worn on the ear.

Due to the size and design these earrings are extremely versatile. They could be worn as an everyday pair of earrings, or alternatively, dress up for more special occasions.

The earrings measure exactly 5.0 x 1.3 centimetres and there is a combined weight of 12.2 grams. The earrings are hallmarked with French assay marks and have been tested for 18k gold.
