Vintage Koala Bear Diamond, Yellow Diamond, Onyx Clip Earrings

An adorable pair of vintage koala bear diamond, yellow diamond and onyx stud earrings in 18-karat yellow and white gold, circa 1980. Each earring modelled as a koala bear entirely pave-set with round brilliant-cut Fancy Intense to Fancy Vivid Yellow diamonds, the arms and ears accented with colourless diamond detailing similarly-set in white gold, further embellished with hand-carved onyx nose and eyes. The earrings are secured to reverse with an Omega clip fitting in white gold. Total yellow diamond weight: approximately 0.70 carats. Total colourless diamond weight: 0.42 carats.
