A beautiful pair of Victorian diamond coronet cluster earrings set in silver.
Each earring centrally features a beautiful old mine cut diamond set in a step-down silver setting. The central diamond is then surrounded by two halos of similarly set old mine cut diamonds which creates this beautiful coronet cluster design. Typical of the era these earrings are set in silver and are secured to reverse with a post and butterfly fittings.
Due to their design and size these earrings have so much versatility and could be worn for a variety of occasions.
The earrings measure 1.7 x 1.7 centimetres and have a combined weight of 9.7 grams. There is an estimated total diamond weight of 2.28 carats, estimated G-I in colour with SI clarity. Typical of the era the earrings are not hallmarked but have been tested. Circa 1840’s (Early Victorian).
