Victorian Old Cut Diamond Bell Drop Earrings, Circa 1900

An extremely unique vintage pair of old cut diamond bell earrings set in 18k rose and white gold.

Each earring is firstly composed of a twisted rope hoop embellished to the top with an old mine cut diamond. Suspended from this hoop is an articulated rose cut diamond panel from which hangs an elegant rose gold colored bell. Each bell is rub over set with 6 rose cut diamonds which add the perfect amount of additional sparkle to the design. Uniquely, the bell is functional and the ‘clapper’ aspect, which makes a slight sound when moving, is also rub over set with a rose cut diamond.

These are an extremely unique pair of earrings and could easily be worn for a variety of occasions. The earrings are currently clip on earrings however can have posts added for those with pierced ears (the service is complimentary).

Each earring consists of a mixture of rose cut and old mine cut diamonds which when combined have an estimated total carat weight of 0.65 carats. The earrings measure 4 centimetres in length and 1.5 centimetres in width and have a combined weight of exactly 14 grams.
