Contemporary Aquamarine and Diamond Drop Earrings

A beautiful pair of contemporary aquamarine and diamond drop earrings set in platinum.

Each earring is composed of five brilliant cut diamonds which is four claw set securely. Descending from the diamond is a large pear cut aquamarine stone, set again in a three claw setting. The tone and colouring of the aquamarines is extremely elegant and both stones have been beautifully matched is colour and transparency. The earrings are secured to reverse with a post and butterfly back fitting.

Due to the size and design these earrings have a spectacular presence on the lobe. The aquamarines are on an articulated drop so they move with the wearer.

The aquamarines are beautifully matched being 1 carat each (total weight of 2.0 carats). The diamonds have a total weight of 0.13 (0.26 carats total), assessed G in colour, with VS2 clarity. For size reference the earrings measure 1.6 centimetres in length and there is a gross weight of 2.3 grams. Both earrings are hallmarked 750, for 18k White Gold.
