An interesting vintage Ben Rosenfeld diamond and sapphire owl brooch set in 18k yellow gold.
The brooch depicts a perching owl and has been beautifully hand crafted to show the naturalistic features. The eyes are the focal point within the piece being pave set with round brilliant cut diamonds and having a single round cut sapphire each for pupils. These sapphires are perfectly matched in colour and stand out beautifully against the yellow gold body. The brooch is secured to reverse with a pin and clasp fitting.
Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to a jumper and/or coat. The brooch is in fantastic condition and is signed and hallmarked to the back BR, 750.
There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.10 carats. There is an estimated total sapphire weight of 0.20 carats. It measures exactly 1.8 X 4.7 centimetres and has a gross weight of 23.8 grams.
