A beautiful 1980’s Tiffany bird brooch set in 18k yellow gold.
This striking design depicts a perching bird and is composed of polished yellow gold. The fanned tail and details within the leaves are magnificent and create a beautiful effect once worn.
The bird is accented with a beautiful pear cut purple tourmaline, diamond eye, and six small brilliant cut diamonds on the leaves which contrast nicely against the yellow gold. The brooch is secured to reference with a pin and roller clasp fitting. Due to the design the piece would look fantastic on a jacket or lapel.
For size reference the bird measures approximately 2.0 x 2.6 (from the widest points) and there is a gross weight of 5.6 grams. The signature can be found at the back of the bird on the pin fitting. Signed TIFFANY&CO, 750, 1988. The purple tourmaline weighing approximately 1.52cts, with a diamond weight of 0.08 carats.
