A fabulous Victorian diamond, enamel, and ruby golden pheasant brooch set in silver-on-gold. The bird’s head, wings and feet are in carved yellow gold with a very naturalistic look, further embellished with a blue and red guilloche enamel hand-painted plumage with intricate feather details, to a grain-set rose-cut diamond tail, crest and neck, accented with a cabochon ruby eye. The brooch is fitted to reverse with a hinged pin and snail-hook fitting. The total diamond weight is approximately 0.15 carats. Dimensions: 67x26mm. Gross weight: 12.83g.
