Diamond, Amethyst and Ruby Teddy Bear Pin Brooch

An adorable diamond, amethyst and ruby teddy bear pin brooch set in 18k yellow gold.

The brooch depicts a beautifully crafted sitting down teddy bear which is pavé set throughout on the stomach with 10 round brilliant cut diamonds. The fur on the bear has been hand carved to show the naturalistic features of a real teddy. The bear is then detailed with polished yellow gold feet and two cabochon ruby eyes. Lastly, the bear holds a yellow gold balloon which is accented to the top with a vibrant purple cabochon amethyst. This amethyst is a fantastic colour and makes the brooch ‘pop’ once worn.

Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to a jumper and/or coat.

The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. It measures exactly 1.8 x 4.0 centimetres (from the widest points) and has a gross weight of 11.6 grams. There is a total diamond weight of 0.27 carats which are estimated to be G-H in colour with VS1-VS2 clarity. The brooch is handmade in England and is hallmarked 18k gold.
