A charming Mecan Elde ruby and diamond trout brooch in 18-karat yellow gold, French, circa 1990. This jewel is carefully designed as a yellow gold trout with a round brilliant-cut diamond eye blowing circular-cut ruby and gold bead bubbles. The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. Dimensions: 4.5×2.0cm.
Rubies approximately 0.39 carats. Diamond approximately 0.03 carats, F/G colour, VS clarity.
