A beautiful sapphire and diamond Papillon dog pin brooch set in 18k white gold.
The brooch depicts a standing Papillon dog which is pavé set on the chest with 3 round brilliant cut diamonds. The dogs fur has been hand carved in 18k white gold to give the brooch naturalistic features. You’ll see the key features of the Papillon breed such as the iconic ears and tail are really enhanced by the makers intricate gold detailing. Lastly, the Papillon is accented with two vibrant blue sapphire eyes and a black enamel nose.
Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to a jumper and/or coat. A perfect gift for any dog lover!
The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. It measures exactly 2.2 x 1.8 centimetres and has a gross weight of 12.5 grams. There is a total diamond weight of 0.03 carats which are estimated to be F-G in colour with VS clarity. The brooch is handmade in England and is hallmarked 18k gold.
