A beautiful yellow and white diamond bird pin brooch set in 18k yellow and rose gold.
The brooch depicts a sweet bird perched on a tree branch and is pavé throughout on the chest with 12 varying sizes of white and yellow round brilliant cut diamonds. The piece has been cleverly crafted and designed with a range of gold textures to show the naturalistic features of the bird and rough tree branch. The bird is then accented by the eye with a further 4 round brilliant cut diamonds and an onyx eye.
Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to a jumper and/or coat.
The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. It measures exactly 3.4 x 2.7 centimetres and has a gross weight of 10.4 grams. There is a total diamond weight of 1.23 carats. The brooch is handmade in England and is hallmarked 18k gold.
