Ruby and Diamond Mother and Baby Elephant Brooch

A lovely ruby and diamond Mother and baby elephant brooch set in 18k yellow gold.

The brooch depicts a mother and baby elephant connected to one another by tail and trunk. Both elephants are made of 18k yellow gold and have both been beautifully hand crafted and designed to have a textured effect. The mother elephant’s ear is embellished with round brilliant cut diamonds which add the perfect amount of sparkle to the piece. Lastly, both elephants are accented with cabochon ruby eyes.

Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to a jumper and/or coat.

The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. It measures exactly 3.3 x 1.2 centimetres and has a gross weight of 9.1 grams. There is a total diamond weight of 0.07 carats which are estimated to be G-H in colour with VS1 clarity. The brooch is handmade in England and is hallmarked 18k gold.
