An Edwardian diamond bar brooch in platinum and 14-karat yellow gold, circa 1905. The brooch of an elongated oval design is millegrain- and grain-set throughout with Old Mine-cut, Old European brilliant-cut, single-cut and rose-cut diamonds, to a platinum setting accented with openwork scalloped detailing and backed in yellow gold. The brooch is secured with a foldable pin and barrel clasp fitting. Dimensions: 5.4×0.8cm.
Diamonds approximately 0.60 carats in total, G/H colour, VS-SI clarity.
