A lovely diamond crab pin brooch set in 18k yellow gold.
The brooch depicts a standing crab which is pavé set throughout on the top of the shell with 15 round brilliant cut diamonds. The crabs claws are pointed upwards and the motif strongly resembles the cancer star sign. The body of the crab is made of solid 18k polished yellow gold and stands out beautifully once worn.
Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to a jumper and/or coat.
The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. It measures exactly 2.2 x 2.8 centimetres and has a gross weight of 7.6 grams. There is a total diamond weight of 0.34 carats which are estimated to be G in colour with VS-VS2 clarity. The brooch is handmade in England and is hallmarked 18k gold.
