Diamond and Ruby Thoroughbred Horse Brooch Yellow and White Gold

An English diamond and ruby thoroughbred horse brooch in 18-karat yellow and white gold, circa 1963. The body of the horse is in carved yellow gold with a naturalistic hand-finished Florentine fur detailing, accented with a fiery red ruby eye and single-cut diamond accents to the tail and crest, which are grain-set set in white gold. The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged post and roller clasp fitting. Dimensions: 3.2×2.7cm.
