A beautiful diamond and ruby Scottish terrier dog pin brooch set in platinum.
The brooch depicts a standing Scottish terrier and is pavé set throughout with round brilliant cut diamonds. Although completely set with diamonds, the maker has truly captured the charm and iconic features of the Scottish terrier breed, specifically the lovely bearded face. Lastly, the terrier is accented with two vibrant red ruby eyes and a polished platinum nose.
Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to a jumper and/or coat. A perfect gift for any dog lover!
The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. It measures exactly 1.9 x 2.4 centimetres and has a gross weight of 9.3 grams. There is a total diamond weight of 1.45 carats which are estimated to be G-H in colour with VS-VS2 clarity. The brooch is handmade in England and is hallmarked 950 for platinum.
