Diamond and Ruby Dragonfly Brooch

A beautiful diamond and ruby eyed dragonfly brooch set in platinum.

The brooch depicts a resting dragonfly which is predominantly composed of a graduating rubover set round brilliant cut diamond body. The true beauty of this pieces lies in the design and the spectacular wings. The wings are designed in an openwork fashion to mimic that of a real dragonfly. The wings are then pave set throughout with round brilliant cut diamonds which sparkle beautifully. The dragonfly is lastly accented with two pinkish colored cabochon rubies for eyes.

Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to anyone’s jewelry collection. The openwork design brings the piece to life once it is secured against a jumper and/or coat.
