A truly beautiful Art Deco diamond swirl panel brooch set in platinum.
The brooch is composed of a swirl motif and is set throughout with sparkly old mine cut diamonds. Set to the centre is the largest of the old mine cuts and this is securely millegrain set. The brooch is secured to reverse with a pin and catch fitting.
The beauty of this brooch all lies with the design. The design reflects that of the Art Deco era displaying pure elegance with fine platinum metal work. Due to the size of the brooch it could be worn for a variety of occasions.
There is an estimated total diamond weight of 3.30 carats. These diamonds are estimated to range from I-J in colour with VS-SI clarity. The brooch measures 4.2 X 1.9 centimetres and has a total weight of 8.3 grams. Typical of the era, the brooch is not hallmarked but has been tested for both platinum. A valuation for insurance will outline the details of the piece. Circa 1920’s.
